Welcome to Fourth Grade! My name is Alisia Myers and I am excited to be your teacher this year. This is my eleventh year teaching fourth grade, and I have been lucky enough to be at Lakeview for all fifteen years of my teaching career! I am very excited to have the opportunity to continue learning and growing you for the next 9 months :-)
Originally from Janesville, Wisconsin, I moved to the area in 2001 to attend the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I graduated from Oshkosh in 2006 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a minor in Spanish. I then graduated from Marian University with my Masters Degree in Differentiating Instruction for At-Risk Learners in 2010. I have now lived in Neenah for the past seven years, after moving here from the small town of Pipe directly across the lake.
You can expect to hear a great deal about my family this school year since they always keep things interesting for me. My family at home includes my husband, Shawn, my daughter, Brooklyn, who is nine years old, my daughter, Kenadee, who is seven and a half, and last, but not least, our puppies... Bentlee who is 2 years old and Kimber who is 3 months old.
I hope you all have a great school year!!
Mrs. Myers
